WELCOME TO THE STONE AGE

Eve and Adam were thrown out of the Garden of Eden, they now face a life full of danger and hardship on earth. Yet, as God has said, there are opportunities for development—it is the dawn of mankind.
The Stone Age life is harsh and bare
with only mammoth meat to share.
No lamp to read a book at night,
just stars above and firelight.
No doctors trained in modern care,
no dentists with a cushioned chair.
No hospitals with laser scans,
just herbs and hope and healing hands.
No comfy beds with memory foam,
just rocks and leaves we call our "home".
Be sure we’d likely trade our cave
for central heat and aftershave.
Welcome to the Stone Age,
flesh and fur and bone age,
the animals get killed and skinned,
for loincloths flapping in the wind.
No chocolate, coffee, sushi rolls,
no high-heeled shoes for our bare soles,
No shopping malls with glass and steel,
no credit cards to close a deal.
No rockets fly to touch the stars,
no diesel or electric cars,
we stumble barefoot through the dirt,
in furs, not in a branded shirt.
Welcome to the Stone Age,
completely without phone age,
no selfies here, no dating apps,
to find a partner, we build traps.
You think you´re bright and we are dumb,
but ask yourself how far you’ve come:
you’ve conquered much, yet somehow lost.
and call it progress -- at great cost ....
The plastic seas, and cars that choke,
and words like "genderfluid" or "woke",
you worry about climate change,
and algorithms growing strange ...
We fight with spears, not policy,
no borders, banks, or currency.
Although our days are short and rough,
this makes us strong and makes us tough, so...
Welcome to the Stone Age,
in the "never be alone" age,
privacy does not exist,
only if the wives insist...
Welcome to the Stone Age,
please check out our home page:
Denisovan, Neanderthal,
all cave dwellers are standing tall.
Don’t say that we are not too bright,
we just invented firelight.
Our walls are full of comic strips,
we work on our relationships.
Welcome to the Stone Age,
the earth now is our own stage.
We sweat and strive, do what we can,
to one day be the modern man.
One day we’ll be the modern man!
...and woman, of course.
