EVOLUTION

The earth was a roaring ocean of stone and fire.
A massive bombardment of chunks of coarse matter hit the surface, bringing with it the elements, the building blocks of life.

When the surface of the earth cooled down, water condensated and it rained, it poured, forming the vast ocean of water, where the first whispers of life rose, fragile and unseen.

Time shaped molecules to living cells, then organisms, they evolved into swimmers, then walkers, then dreamers: Every heartbeat a note, every breath a step in an endless dance.

From the ocean to the sky,
learned to swim and learned to fly,
in the light we come alive,
learned to fight and survive.

And then we learned to build machines
to shape the earth to match our dreams,
but in reality it seems:
we head towards extinction.
