WRATH

Anne Boleyn was the second wife of Henry VII, the scene takes place on 1. May, one day before she got arrested.
Anne was executed on May 19th 1536. So at last, she lost her head ...
When love turns to hate
[Henry]
I gave you a crown and a glittering throne,
and all I asked was a son of my own!
Now look at you — smug and serene,
Still no heir and you´re twice as mean!
I was so much in love, tried to get you in vain,
to comprehend my passion, reed my letters again,
and because of you, I ditched my first wife,
cause all I really wanted, was you in my life.
When love turns to hate ...there is nothing you can do.
Anger eats you up inside..the wrath consuming you.
The feeling in my stomach is almost killing me,
The rumors getting louder, that you´re cheating on me ....
[Anne]
You wanted a wife who obeys and bouws,
you always had your hands in my blouse,
I gave you my youth, my love, my bed,
Too bad that you prefer a dull blonde instead!
I was so much in love, but you killed me inside,
you took everything but you can´t take my pride,
I´ve always been a really good wife,
cause all I really wanted, was you in my life ...
The feeling in your stomach is the pheasant that you ate
If anger is consuming you, maybe you loose some weight,
Your love turned to hate, there was nothing I could do,
I can only wait until - your gluttony kills you!
You're choleric, you are bloated, a real shame,
and I´m tired of playing your courtly game.
You call it love, I call it dread,
But at least I’ve never lost my head…
[Henry]
Then I think it’s time, that you do ....
so I .... get rid of you.
Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII: A Royal Tragedy
Henry VIII, King of England, became infatuated with the witty and ambitious Anne Boleyn in the 1520s. Already married to Catherine of Aragon, Henry's desire to marry Anne — who refused to be his mistress — led him to break from the Catholic Church and establish the Church of England. After years of political and religious upheaval, they married in 1533, and Anne was crowned queen.
However, Anne failed to produce a male heir, giving birth only to a daughter — the future Elizabeth I. Henry soon grew disillusioned. Their once-passionate relationship turned cold and hostile. In 1536, Anne was arrested on dubious charges of adultery, incest, and treason. After a swift and controversial trial, she was executed by beheading.
Her death marked one of the most dramatic and tragic chapters in Tudor history — a tale of ambition, power, obsession, and betrayal.
